Creative Director / CEO / Artist

Teresa Mandala grew up in Rockford, Illinois and migrated to Kansas City, where she received a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. Currently, she runs a virtual advertising studio, is an active studio artist, and an instructor at the Kansas City Art Institute. She has given various workshops and lectures in the Kansas City area.

Mandala enjoys exploring materials and finding unconventional ways to express very complex concepts. She has worked in wood, metal, glass, watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints. Currently, she works in porcelain. Her work is a dance of color and visual movement, embracing the divine feminine. Her concepts and themes are inspired by her own personal experiences. Her ultimate objective is to translate her own experiences of struggle, triumph and failure into universal truths.

You can find her work in several private collections across America. Her exhibition record includes numerous group shows, benefits and competitions, including Belger Crane Yard Gallery, The Art Factory, The Hill Design House, MOD Gallery, and Art for Hope.
